Environmental Stewardship Pillars

Community Outreach
At Golden Bear Environmental, we believe sustainability doesn’t stop at the curb—it starts with people. That’s why we’re proud to partner with local organizations, schools, and sports teams to make a lasting impact in the communities we serve.
Community Cleanups
We roll up our sleeves alongside our neighbors to keep our region beautiful. In partnership with the Washington Commanders and the Washington Nationals, our team has organized community cleanup events that remove tons of litter from parks, waterways, and neighborhoods—while engaging volunteers to take pride in their environment.
We have partnered with organizations such as the Potomac Conservancy and the Anacostia Watershed Community too clean up local parks along our cities waterways. Fort Dupont Park, Gravelly Point Park and the Anacostia Park/Kingman Island are just a few of the locations we are proud to help keep beautiful for our community memebers!
If you are interested in partnering with us for a clean up event please contact a member of our sustainability team!
Education & Awareness
Knowledge is the foundation of change. Golden Bear Environmental supports school programs, workplace training, and community workshops that teach the value of recycling, proper waste sorting, and the impact of landfill diversion. From classroom presentations to facility tours, we connect people of all ages to the importance of sustainable waste practices.
